The following rules have been made to ensure your enjoyment and safety when using the facility. We expect our members and guests to behave maturely, responsibly, and respectfully. We will not tolerate any conduct or language that is improper, threatening or hazardous including but not limited to fighting, arguing, use of profanity, indecent behaviour or inappropriate sexual activity and reserve the right to deny guest privileges and suspend or even terminate a membership for failure to comply with these rules or for any other reason.

Summer Hours (July & August)
Upon arrival, membership tags MUST be scanned at the Reception Desk. Members will be asked to show a piece of photo ID if they don’t have their membership card or if we don’t have a picture on file. The Member agrees that use of their membership card by anyone other than the person named herein is prohibited and will be confiscated. The member also agrees that if they allow anyone else to use their membership card their membership at PF may be suspended or terminated. A fee of $10.00 will be charged to replace any lost/stolen membership tags.
Upon arrival, members must register their guest(s) at the Reception Desk. All guests must pay a drop-in fee of $10.00 per adult or $8.00 for students. Student ID cards must be presented for the student rate. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guest(s).
It is prohibited for a guest or member of PF to conduct or solicit personal training on PF premises. Violators will be asked to leave and membership may be suspended or terminated. If interested in personal training services please see a staff member at the Reception Desk. PF has personal trainers on staff.
Proper athletic shoes and clothing must be worn in all public areas. Shoes must have non-marking soles and fully enclose the foot. Sandals are not permitted. All outdoor footwear must be removed at the front entrance.
Locker Rooms & Rentals
Lockers are for daily use only unless rented. Items left overnight, unless in a rented locker, will be removed. Lockers for daily use will be provided at no charge, but the member must provide his/her own lock. Do not leave valuables unprotected or in your locker as PF is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Lockers must be rented for a minimum of 3 months. *Locker Rentals are offered pending availability.Large Locker: $15.00/month Small Locker: $10.00/month *Locker users will provide their own padlock and agree to keep their assigned locker when not in use, clean and free of any nuisance odours. PF reserves the right to open any locker under suspicious circumstances.
All personal audio equipment must be used with headphones. Please allow others to work in on weight equipment; do not monopolize equipment. Be courteous of those waiting for equipment during peak hours. Please replace all dumbbells, plates, weights, benches and any other equipment on appropriate racks when finished. Please wipe perspiration off equipment after each use.
Food & DrinkFood is not permitted in the workout areas of the fitness center. Beverages must be in a bottle or plastic container. Gum is permitted but smokeless tobacco products are prohibited anywhere in the PF facility. Please notify staff of any spills.
Membership Dues & Charges
Dues are paid in advance for monthly, 3 month, or 6 month memberships as well as 1 or 2 year memberships. Pre-Authorized Payments (PAPs) may be used for 1 or 2 year memberships only. Monthly dues are paid via cash, debit or credit card. If paying via pre-authorized payments, we will automatically withdraw your payment from your designated bank account on the 1st of each month or the next day for the following month’s dues. You may also use a credit card for your pre-authorized payments. If any changes are made to your account please notify the Reception Desk 14 days before the next withdrawal. Pro-rated Dues will be charged as a percentage of the month if the membership is started on a day other than the 1st of the month.
Membership Renewals & Expiry
Upon the expiration of any membership, a renewal may be completed at the Reception Desk. Renewal forms must be initialled by the membership holder at the time of the renewal. All memberships paid through PAPs will continue after the dated expiry at the same membership rate until notification of cancellation is received; no cancellation fee will be charged after this date. Notification of cancellation must be received 14 days prior to the next withdrawal date or payment for the following month will be charged.
A cancellation is not effective until a Cancellation Request Form is received. There will be a Cancellation Fee of $100.00 charged with your request. If your request is received 14 days before the 1st of the month, the cancellation will be effective at the beginning of the next month. You may continue use of the facility until the first of the following month. If your request is received less than 14 days before the next month, your cancellation will not start until the month following the next. If your account is not in good standing, any balance will be due at the time of cancellation, or the automatic withdrawal will continue until a balance of zero has been reached. Cancellations must be done in person at the Reception Desk, no phone calls, faxes, or emails will be accepted. If you have a Couples or Family Membership and choose to drop 1 person off of the membership, you will be charged the $100.00 cancellation fee and whoever is left will start a new membership from that date.
There will be no holds or freezes available on any memberships.
There are no transfers on memberships.
NSF Cheques & Payments
If you have a cheque or a monthly withdrawal comeback as NSF, you will be charged a $10.00 fee. This will be added to the delinquent payment.
Please notify staff of any caused damages to equipment, walls, mirrors, etc. If it is found that the damage was caused by inappropriate behaviour or horsing around, the person or persons involved may be charged for the damage that has occurred, and their membership/s may be suspended or cancelled.
There will be no refunds on any memberships, ten visit passes, or products. Once an item or membership is purchased, all sales are final.
